FRC Joint Assessment
Data-driven assessment to showcase each joint's passive and active ranges of motion. The Functional Range Conditioning method, introduced by Dr. Andreo Spina, emphasizes awareness and strengthening of the joint capsule, which directly communicates with the brain in response to movement. Ensuring proper joint function reduces the risk of onset and progression of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, as well as mitigates injury.
Personal Training
Life Specific Fitness Personal Training is much different than the typical perception of a training session, where a trainer with little to no knowledge of the human body assigns exercises that they found online, or thought looked cool, or were the exact same as the previous seven clients' exercises. Every program is different, because while we are all human, we have all adapted our bodies to different environments, in totally different ways. All client programs are unique to the individuals needs, imbalances, and personal goals. Thus, all programs are (appropriately titled) life specific.
Initial FRC joint assessment, lifestyle assessment, and general health assessment precede session scheduling to determine client needs are addressed in training.
Rehabilitation

For acute, chronic, and recurrent injuries. Not every knee injury should receive the same protocol, just as not every runner should receive the same running program. Learn how to not only heal from your injury, but how to reduce the chance of it happening again through surpassing your baseline. Studies have shown that the most common cause of a specific injury (ACL tears, labrum tears, etc) is the exact injury having occurred previously. Why? Because the body was not trained to handle the environment it was put in that caused the original injury. Establishing results beyond baseline will strengthen your tissues to prevent recurrence of poor movement patterns causing injury.
Running and Gait Analysis
The brain accesses the world through 3 main outlets: your vision, your hands, and your feet. Exploring how your feet navigate through the world is just as important as testing your vision at the optometrist - yet how often is it prioritized as such? Every client will undergo a walking and (if applicable) running analysis to assess the absorption, stabilization, and mobilization capacities of the feet. If these features are lacking, then when the foot is asked to perform the movement of walking/running it will require other joints (including the knees, hips, back, and even neck and shoulders) to take up the slack.
PROnatal: Pre and Postpartum Training
The months prior and following birth are life changing in countless ways. Ensure your body is prepared and strong for every part of it. Pelvic floor activation, hip mobilization, and breath work are pillars in pre-partum training. In addition, establishing body mechanics is essential to prepare for the growing external challenges stressed on the body after birth.

All services are offered in person for Fairfield and New Haven, CT counties, and virtually worldwide, with combinations of live sessions and homework routines.
